I am also in the process of weaning and while high chairs are too big at the moment, the cushitush is perfect.  Its also handy if I need to leave the room knowing they are safe. i definitely recommend this product! Well done guys.

It’s fab!

Handy for popping her in if I need to nip out of room and great for play time- she loves to push her toys off the edge! It’s lightweight and easy to transport, e.g to grandma’s house. Think it will be really good when we start weaning in a few weeks time too!

We have used our chairs out and about on picnics, at home to play with toys and when visiting friends for lunch!
I think they’re a fabulous creation, with fantastic colour ways.

Whenever we are using the seats out and about, we always receive compliments on the chairs, I can’t recommend them enough!!

I was given a Cushi Tush as a gift when my baby girl was born in September. I couldn’t wait to use it and was able to seat her in her Cushi Tush in December. She was well supported and liked being able to sit up and see what was happening around her. I started weaning at 4 months and the Cushi Tush was perfect for this as i could put her toys on the tray to keep her entertained whilst feeding. She is not quite at the stage for feeding herself yet but as soon as she is i will put finger food on the tray for her to pick up.

It is really easy to clean and we take it with us to restaurants so she can join in the dining experience! The Cushi Tush is practical, lightweight and above all comfortable for my baby – i like it so much that i recently bought one for my friend who has just had a little boy. The sales team at Cushi Tush were exceptionally helpful and ensured I got the colour I wanted in super quick time.

Cushi Tush has been announced as a winner of a Right Start ‘Best Baby Essentials’ Award for the Cushi Tush baby seat.

This latest Right Start award marks the fourth award in four years for the UK based manufacturer of the Cushi Tush baby seat and illustrates the continuing success and popularity of the product in the UK marketplace. 

Part of Right Start Magazine, published in association with Tumble Tots, the Right Start Awards aim to highlight the very best products for mums to be during pregnancy and children up to the age of two.

Today, March 8th is Pancake Day 2011!

Or instead of Pancake Day the true name in its religious origins is Shrove Tuesday or, if you are in Iceland – Bursting Day! Indeed I am sure that is how many of us feel after Pancake Day!

Shrove Tuesday is considered as a last feast of all the traditional food stuffs (fat, butter and eggs) not allowed during the Christian festival of Lent which runs from Ash Wednesday (day after Shrove Tuesday) until Easter Sunday.

So, lets move onto pancake fillings!

Our fun filling suggestions.

1. Break out the smarties!  
   Once your pancake is cooked before tipping out of the frying pan drop a few smarties onto the pancake to commence melting. Tip pancake onto a plate and roll – you’ll get a lovely multi colour chocolate goo filling to your pancake.

 

2. Chocolate buttons anyone?
   As above for the Smarties but you’ll have a pure chocolate filling. Yum!

 

3. Chocolate orange (mmmm a favourite of mine)
   Same as above but for all you adults you can always add a little Cointreau for something special.

 

4. Banana & Chocolate
   Melt the chocolate, lay out the pancake on a plate and add cut up banana.

 

5. Strawberries & Whipped Cream
   Cook pancakes and once on the plate add whipped cream and strawberries before folding.

 

6. Mixed Berries
   You can either warm up berries with a little sugar and then add to your pancake or fill will ice cream and cold berries.

 

7. Pear and Dark chocolate
   Dreamy combination of chocolate and pears, why not top with some chopped nuts to give that gooey filling some crunch.

 

8. Ice Cream Surprise
   Fill a pancake with a scoop of ice cream; go with one of those expensive branded tubs for something really amazing.

 

9. Classic Lemon and Sugar
   Make your pancakes and squeeze a little lemon and a sprinkling of sugar.

 

10. Go Nutty with Maple Syrup  
    Once your pancake is cooked, why not add some maple syrup to the filling? You could even add pecans and ice cream if you like!
